If you are an agency or solo blogger/freelancer monetizing your skills on job boards, one of the features not to underlook is Job Alerts.
If you must stay in the loop and not miss out on ‘low-hanging fruit‘ or easily reached opportunities, you make use of this very useful feature on must job boards, including efaah jobs.
What this does is tell you hey, there is a new job offer corresponding to what you are looking for. Imagine you forwarding your resume to an advertiser for an excited new offer and it turns out you are late.
Who do you blame?
Blame it on your negligence or ignorance. You just didn’t realize the whole system has been put up with nifty tools designed to be your agents, watching and reporting to you timely.
Like on many other professionally designed job boards, efaah job has a Job Alert feature. Let me walk you through this, helping you create your first intelligent alert system.
Creating a Job Alert on efaah jobs
There are two types of job alerts to create here on efaah:
1 – Quick Job Alert
This is the Alerts that tells you of any thing that is posted on the platform with a specified keyword.
Quick Alert is available for everyone on the sidebar:
2 – Smart Alert
This Job Alert type is only available to members from within their dashboard. It allows you create a single alert with multiple keywords and conditions.
Go to your dashboard and click My Alerts
Once on your dashboard, you will have a list of your Alerts, including Quick Alerts. Of course you are able to add more parameters to your Quick Alerts at this point.
But here is what it looks like to create a Smart Alert:
Here, you are able to add different parameters/conditions and set a frequency, usually Daily or Weekly.
More job opportunities are being posted on efaah jobs. Go ahead and create your alerts so you do not miss an opportunity.
